I'm listening to Bloc Party's "Silent Alarm," and realizing it's gotta be one of my all time favorite albums. I forgot how amazing it is. Their new album is good, but Silent Alarm is insane. My favorite songs?

I think I'm going to do a list of my all time favorite albums soon. I feel like that'd be a nice way to waste some time. I have no idea what'll be on it. I imagine this, Mellon Collie (smashing pumpkins), When The Pawn (fiona apple), rush of blood (coldplay), born to run (bruce), and the bends (radiohead) will be there. In fact, it'll be mostly modern stuff.

If only my "modern music is dead" high school self could see me now. I'm so glad I got Rush of Blood. That album was a freaking portal senior year. Rush of Blood led to Tidal led to The Bends led to A Ghost is Born and from there, the floodgates opened.
